The story line was great, the movie was about 2.5 hours long, but it definitely did not feel that long; The movie was filled with action to pass the time quickly. The movie had a great flow, introducing and building the characters smoothly. All of the human actors did a great job, especially my boy Shia

I thought the fight scnenes were amazing; computer graphics never cease to amaze me. However, because of the colassal, complex structure of the autobots and decepticons, I felt the fight scenes were hard to follow. At times, the scene was moving so fast, the camera was moving so fast, it became a quick blur to me. Also, with my lack of knowledge of the names of the robots, it was hard to follow along with who was fighting who. These are my only 2 complaints; next time I watch the movie, which I will, I'll be better informed able to follow everything as they intended for us.This is a movie I think everyone should see atleast once; it is definitely worth the $7-10 to pay for a movie ticket. If you're a Transformers fan, you will love every aspect of the movie. If you have an idea about the Transformers but not a total fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie, and probably become a fan! I give it about 9.4/10. It was probably the only movie I'll see in theatre's this summer, and it was was well worth it, it will be hard to top that movie.
"Bring the rain!" GO SEE TRANSFORMERS 8-)

I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, and it's good to see the FIRST positive review that I've read. Everywhere else I've read says the movie sucks, or it gets 1 out of 5 stars, etc.
(I'm more looking forward to seeing Megan Fox, than yr "boy" Shia!)
:-P
Oh my god. I saw this when it first came out, after waiting a while in eager anticipation. I went in with the most open of minds, yet I hated pretty much everything about it. The action was WAY too fast to follow, everything was shiny and snarling for no good reason, and the story/characters had NOTHING to do with the original Transformers other than the occasional name dropping. If someone offered me 20$ and a free ticket to watch this again, I'd honestly turn them down. 100$, maybe, but damn.
Come on Kjim, you wish you were a transformer :) hehe
I'll be bumblebee and you can be the "big shiny truck" and we can go look for the rubiks cube together, how about it?
oooo oooo! can i be jazz? the only f'kin brotha transformer that gets ripped in half! that was so lame -____-
Well I have yet to see it, but I went to my local theatre (like a 5 min. walk from my place), and they had a matinee fee of $5.50 (which is the best price in this town!), so I was psyched.
But then I noticed that there were areas of the screen where it was jumping (very slightly), and I was paying more attention to those parts of the screen than I was the movie. The first few minutes of the film are kinda action-packed and with the action speed + the slighly shaking bits of the screen, I was asking myself if I wanted to sit through the whole thing... during what I think is either a bad print or something with the projector.
So I left and got a refund.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch it for less than $8 anywhere else around here, no matter when. Guh.
